I was a little confused when looking back over the slides and I know you mentioned it in class but I seemed to not have written it down in my notes, the difference between E-business and E-commerce is that E-commerce is a part of E-business?
Also I was interested in finding out which makes more money for the company, cross-selling or up-selling?

  1. I don't know of any studies comparing cross-selling to upselling, but my intuition is that upselling would convey better profit margins than cross-selling....

    eCommerce is using the Internet to sell goods and services; eBusiness is eCommerce PLUS web-enabled business processes (e.g., the 7 cross functional business systems and the 5 functional business systems, among others) and electronic communication and collaboration....
